Instagram Challenge: 20 Facts about me Challenge

I'm pretty sure you guys have heard about the "20 facts about me challenge" post which is constantly being bombarded on your Instagram feed. If you don't have Instagram, then nevermind bout that... cause I'll be sharing my 20 facts about me here. 

1. I can't speak any Chinese

...ok so this is really embarrassing, i'm Chinese but i can't even speak fluent any dialect of Chinese. Be it, cantonese, mandarin, hokkien; i don't know how to speak it. My family speaks Cantonese so i can understand and speak broken canto. lol

2. I'm a coffee person

omg i don't need an explanation for this but Coffee beats tea to the ground.

3. I've lost my glasses 3 times & had to always get new ones. I have my 4th one now.

lol this has been a serious problem in my life. I think my mother literally hates me for this because she has to keep buying new ones... I keep losing them because i hate wearing glasses & i think i look so ugly + i always misplace everything. I wish i could get contacts but the power on my lens is too low :'<

4. I used to always play video games when I was a child. 

I used to  a l w a y s  play video games because i grew up with my brother who was always on the Xbox/PS2/Gameboy & i would always watch him play Final Fantasy and all the other zombie/shooting games. Whenever i get the chance to play, those were the games i had. But my all time favourite PlayStation game was Kingdom Hearts2 because i fell in love with the characters and they also had Disney characters in it. Like omg......... Kingdom Hearts is to die for! I also played Sims a lot, like the whole set!

5. Never had the habit of biting my nails but yet my nails are so brittle 

i hate this so much because i can't paint my nails a lot because it just makes it more brittle. ugh, i think it's just my genes or something.

6. I cannot swim 

i'm actually quite embarrassed about this because when i was in kindergarden, i took swimming lessons and failed & when i was in primary school, i also took swimming lessons again but still failed. I always end up snorting water sooooo, i gave up 

7. I love big cities 

I am in love with big cities. I know the definition of a concrete jungle doesn't sound very pleasing but there's just something about it that i love. When i was younger, i have always lived in a place where there were no tall skyscrapers, no noise of traffic, & no pollution. So, i guess that's the reason why i came to like the city. As strange as it sounds, i find the city absolutely breathtaking.

8. I have a toy poodle as a pet

If you guys have read my older posts, then i think you know that i have a pet poodle.

9. Paranoid

I don't know how to explain this, but i sometimes get paranoid easily. Ask my friends.

10. I get along with people very well only if they have something in common with me

like if you and i have a conversation about something that WE love; I swear we are already BFF's because i know & i can't deny that we have this special connection. & i will defo know it if we really do have something in common. Especially if it's those rare topics that i NEVER talk about with my friends because, they don't even know wtf i'm talking about!! So, if we do have something in common.... my heart is in your hands, i believe in happy ends & baby, i am the greatest of your fans <3 

& if we have more than 5 things in common, omg... you are my soulmate!!!!! 

11. My favourite holiday is Christmas 

I mean, who doesn't love Christmas?

12. I love the beach but hate it when sand comes home with me 

seriously...

13. My weirdest pet peeves are: fans that spray watery mist 

OK. i seriously don't understand... WHO THE HELL INVENTED THIS MACHINERY !? there is no point in this fan to exist other than the fact that they are blowing VISIBLE WET WIND.. This machine literally just sprays mist!! & they are usually found in outdoor seating areas. Apparently, they are placed because it is used """to cool the area from the hot weather.""" Malaysia is already humid enough, you don't have to make it more humid with your wet wind. oh, and also.. can we pls talk about how this wet windy mist goes into your food too? ugh. 

14. I lose things easily

15. I get red cheeks when I stand under the sun. (The longer I stand, the redder I become) 

I get a lot of people telling me that this "red cheek" thing makes me look prettier. but NO. it's so annoying, my cheeks literally just heats up and it's not nice. People would tell me that it's a natural blusher. NOO... you have no idea how annoying it is.. & i never like hanging around under the sun because my cheeks can actually turn to  a darker red to a maroon red. so i usually end up looking like a tomato. 

16. I collect post cards

I love collecting post cards cause they look so pretty and i always feel like there's a story behind each postcard

17. I live in Genting

Growing up, people in school always call me Genting girl. Just because I live in Genting!! But I don't live in Genting Highlands okay! Like near Gohtong Jaya and I basically grew up there from a baby till college.

19. Fear of heights/needles/pain

So i fear heights the most, then needles, then pain. I literally cannot stand on high areas cause I feel so dizzy when i look down

20. My guilty pleasures are reading lifestyle blogs and watching romantic films but I'm not a romantic type of person
